- Data-viz support (charts, timelines, structured summaries)
- Translation & accessibility enhancements
AI tools operate under direct human instruction and documented workflows.
2. Human Oversight & Editorial Integrity
- All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed and edited by a human before publication.
- Key claims are fact-checked against primary/secondary sources.
- Content is corrected or updated promptly if issues arise.
Editorial responsibility remains with our human editors (byline: PeanutsChoice).
3. Disclosure of AI Usage
We do not routinely label individual pieces as “AI-generated.” Readers should assume AI may have provided a supporting role (e.g., grammar or outline assistance) unless otherwise stated. All decisions are human-approved and traceable within our internal LLAP (Legal & Liability Archive Protocol).

- Manipulate reader behavior or opinion deceptively
Our AI usage aligns with:

- EU AI Act — transparency obligations for generative AI
- GDPR (Arts. 6 & 13) — lawful processing and notice
- IFJ Global Charter of Ethics & Dutch press standards
5. Data Use & Privacy
AI tools may process textual/analytic inputs for editorial purposes. We do not submit personal data of readers, contributors, or sources to AI systems without explicit consent.
Where processing occurs, we rely on legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for editorial improvement and minimize or anonymize data where possible. See our Privacy Policy. We do not use AI for behavioral profiling, targeted ads, or content personalization.
